Design your own hair salon
Do you know what makes clients to choose particular hair salon? Of course, the first thing that comes to our minds are the skills of such person, but sometimes we don’t know much about them. There are situations when we can’t rely on other people’s opinions, so we browse the internet and search for some professional who can take care of our hair. And that is the moment when the clients look at the pictures of the salon and choose the one, which has the best interior design.
Choose the style and arrangement
Take a moment and think carefully about the style that you feel good in. In what kind of interior would you like to work? That is by far, the most important questions you have to ask yourself at the time of creating the visual side of your own hair salon. You need to be aware of the fact, that you will spend there the whole day, so you should feel really comfortably in such place. If you prefer cosy, classic style, try to arrange your salon in that way. But if you feel great in modern interiors, don’t be afraid to experiment with such colours and furniture.
In the next step, look at the space that is supposed to be your future hair salon and think about the colours of the walls. Imagine how they would look like painted in the same tint and in the contrastive colours. You should also think about the arrangement of the whole place and the appropriate furniture. Of course, their design and colour must also match the style of your hair salon, so you need to choose them carefully.
When it comes to the furniture, you have to remember that their quality is extremely important, both for people who work in the hair salon and of course your clients. Don’t try to save any money on hairdressing chairs, backwash units or even the sofa in the waiting room! They are all very important elements of the salon’s interior, and clients must feel really comfortably while using them.
Another piece of furniture that deserve some more attention from the hair salon’s owner is the reception desk. It is the first thing that your clients will see after entering the salon, so it should be really elegant and aesthetic. Apart from the sofa, which have to be in the central part of the waiting room, you also need to think about some armchairs or simple chairs, and a coffee table. It doesn’t have to be very big, but it is the best place for magazines that will keep your clients entertained while waiting for the service or a cup of coffee if you decide to offer drinks. Also don’t forget about some kind of a hanger for outer clothes.
